The Sendai Group under Hamasaki Akiko's leadership heavily taxed the University Group, to the point that one of their members, Ayano Chika, died. The White Ribbon attempted to negotiate a better deal with the Sendai Group. When that failed, they defeated the Sendai Group and freed the University Group. Since Mori Rin took over the Sendai Group, relations have normalized.
