Unforeseen Consequences

1-1: Sabrina wakes up in an alley, displaying intermittent disorientation, vomiting, etc. Madoka and Sayaka find her, Kyubey in tow, and Sabrina realizes that she is a potential because she can see Kyubey. Kyubey confirms that she can become a Puella Magi.

1-2: Sabrina makes a contract.

1-3: Sabrina introduces herself to Madoka and Sayaka, and mentions that she doesn't remember much. She is asked by the two whether she knows Mami or Homura.

1-4: Sabrina replies to Sayaka & Madoka's earlier question of whether she knows Mami or Homura by tentatively saying that she should probably go meet Mami. Sabrina cleans up a bit and then departs the alley along with Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyubey. Madoka and Sayaka give their basic opinions on Mami and Homura. Sabrina discovers that she can sense nearby grief by way of sensing nearby grief.

1-5: Sabrina and co. conclude, partly at the suggestion of Kyubey, that Sabrina has sensed a Puella Magi and a barrier. Sayaka calls Mami at Sabrina's request, and reports that Mami is coming to meet the group. The group agrees to "check out" the probably-a-barrier, but not approach it too closely because Sabrina is still inexperienced. Examination reveals that the probably-a-barrier is definitely a barrier.

1-6: Sabrina and co. wait for Mami. Mami arrives.

1-7: Sabrina introduces herself to Mami, Mami and Sabrina conclude that Homura is inside the barrier, Mami gives her basic opinion on Homura, Mami and Sabrina discuss basic topics outside the barrier while carefully not entering the barrier with Homura inside of it, Homura kills the witch offscreen and emerges from the barrier with a grief seed, surprised at the scene awaiting her.

1-8: Everybody has a standoff outside the barrier until Sabrina decides to introduce herself to Homura. Mami is worried by this, but Homura puts a smile on her face and asks to speak with Sabrina privately, which only worries Mami more.
